Schultz Floral Relocation Update - July 1, 2026

We are overwhelmed and grateful for the outpouring of positive remarks related to our recent announcement that we're moving locations in Valparaiso.
Our Journey started in 2025 with the acquisition of 551 Franklin Street and securing a commercial use variance for the property from the City of Valparaiso. Fast Forward to 2026, and we were approving architectural drawings, site plans, and estimates with Chester Inc., also based in Valparaiso. The project accelerated around Mother's Day when the remodeling construction kicked off, including internal floor plan changes, new plumbing, exterior painting, and an upgraded parking lot. Since then, we've designed two walk in floral coolers, ordered a new garage door, received our external sign permit, and had our dumpster pad installed. These seem so minuscule in writing, but each is a huge leap towards the vision of Schultz Floral that Valparaiso deserves.
In the coming weeks the interior will be painted, shelves and doors will be hung, and grass will be planted. It's our forever home, and we couldn't be more excited to open our doors to you in August 2026. Stay tuned for our exact timeline and dates and if you see me over there mowing this summer... honk, beep, or wave. We're so happy to be in this community.
